Straddle Front Lever

Additional Information:

Ways to make it easier:

  • Repping out the entance - holding for a sec or how long you want then back n forth
  • Decreasing the lever - moving your feet closer to your center / increasing the straddle
  • Using external force for support - resistance bands, a partner or something
  • Regressing to an easier variation/exercise

Ways to make it harder:

  • Holding it for as long as you can
  • Doing it on a combination with different variation/exercise - straddle front lever to a back lever progression etc.
  • Increasing the lever - moving your legs away from your center / decreasing the straddle
  • Progressing to a harder variation/exercise

Comment:

At the start of your front lever training, using high bar is a bit harder than low bar due to additional distance to travel. So if you have an access to a low bar, it's better to use that instead especially if you want to spend more time on the static position itself and not waste any strength on the entry
